📊 Flatio releases its first digital nomad report

If you’re curious about how other digital nomads are living their lives in 2023, you might want to check out Flatio’s first digital nomad report here. Flatio is a platform that connects remote workers with furnished apartments for rent around the world. 🏠

The report is based on a survey of over 2,000 digital nomads from 97 countries. It covers topics such as motivations, frustrations, preferences, and habits of digital nomads in 2023. It also reveals some interesting facts and figures about this growing community like the ones listed below. 💡

• 💰 Almost half (46.6%) of nomads go where their wallets lead when choosing their next adventure and rated “cost” as their #1 factor in determining where to travel to.

• 🎉 While most digital nomads are in the 18-39 age range, a quarter (25%) of digital nomads embracing the journey are over 40!

• 💼 Balancing both worlds, almost a third (31.5%) tackle the 9-to-5 grind while exploring the globe.

• 😩 A whopping 39.8% of say finding accommodations is their biggest frustration!

• 🇺🇸 Leading the pack, 37.4% of nomads hail from the USA, with the UK (12.3%) and Germany (5.6%) following suit.

• 🏖️ The sun-soaked charm of Portugal wins hearts as the top pick for 27.1% of nomads!

• ✈️ Spain's flamenco flair tugs at the heartstrings of 14.5% of nomads as the ultimate next destination.

• 💸 Living the dream on a budget, over half (51.5%) have an annual income of €10-50k.

• ⏳ Riding the waves of time, 55.1% find joy in settling for 1-4 months in each spot.

• ✨ Nomad visas earn a big thumbs-up from 61.5%, unlocking a world of travel freedom for those that use them!

The report also provides some tips and recommendations for aspiring and experienced digital nomads, as well as some predictions for the future of digital nomadism. It’s a great resource for anyone who wants to learn more about this lifestyle and how to make the most of it. 🚀

2. Australia is another popular destination for digital nomads who love nature and wildlife. You can experience the cosmopolitan cities of Sydney and Melbourne, the iconic landmarks of Uluru and the Great Barrier Reef, or the laid-back vibes of Byron Bay and Perth. Australia has a lot to offer, like great surfing, hiking, and wine tasting. 🐨
