🍽 To Eat & Drink

Now let's dive into the delicious world of Málaga cuisine! For fresh seafood with a view, you can't go wrong with El Palo beach. It's the perfect area to grab a table at one of the chiringuitos (beach bars) and savor some fried fish and an ice cold cerveza while gazing out at the Mediterranean.

If you're in the mood for something a bit more refined, head over to Mercado Merced. This vibrant food market offers a cornucopia of culinary delights, from local cheeses and olives to fresh seafood and jamón ibérico (Iberian ham). Pull up a stool at one of the many stalls and enjoy some of the best food and drinks Málaga has to offer.

🏡 To Stay

If you want to be in the heart of the action, I recommend staying near the main hotels and condos near the city center. For a more relaxed, beach vibe, check out the coastal neighborhoods to the east or west.

There’s plenty of options at all price-points, from small hotels and motels to spacious Airbnbs. Wherever you stay, you'll be only a quick walk to the city's restaurants, bars, and nightlife!

✈️ To Fly

So how can you get your nomad on in Málaga while saving some cash? Plan your trip during the shoulder seasons of spring (April-June) and fall (September-November)!

You'll enjoy fewer crowds, comfortable temperatures, and cheaper airfares compared to the busy (& touristy) summer months.

Mind you we’re traveling to Europe here, but even so there’s a few lower-priced flights out of New York, Chicago, Boston, and DC between April and May. You can find your city here (maybe you’re lucky and it’ll be one of the cheapest).
